
Bison
Discover the taste of Grand Duc farms, from the beautiful Laurentian regions. Started back in 1990, and cultivating 250 hectares of land and 450 bison heads at the height of the year, Grand Duc has grown to produce all the food consumed locally.
They’re bison’s are fed a natural diet of forage and cereals only, with no antibiotics, no growth hormones are administered, and no castration is practiced. The animals are slaughtered between 18-24 months, giving the meat great tenderness and famous flavour. All slaughter is carried out in an inspected slaughterhouse and all cutting is done in a inspected cutting room as well.
